what he would've done on 9/11. Actually, it would've been something more along these lines:
Excuse moi, les enfants, but I must go, post haste. Our country has been attacked and I have to go call Kofi Annan at the UN and get permission to defend ourselves. Don't worry, children - help is on the way.
Now that I think about it, the UN is based in NYC - why not just let them handle the defense of the city, since they're already there?
